Mother Of Boys

Since I am a mother of 4 wonderful boys, a friend of mine found the poem and passed it on to me. I thought I would share it with you. It is very fitting.

Shoes in the kitchen, jeans on the floor
Basketballs lying at the back door
Living room carpet shows signs of wear
The fridge and the cupboards are constantly bare.

The toilet seat's up, it's stuck that way
The sports on TV blare all day
Legos, footballs, all kinds of toys
How did you guess, I'm the mother of boys.

Happy Birthday Jackie

Today Jackie turned three. Here she is with her birthday hat on. As you can see in the picture she has a wrap around her back leg. She was playing fetch a week ago and ran up the rocks. She split her paw wide open and required 12 stitches. Six inside and six outside. Needless to say she is healing and has celebrated another birthday.
Happy Birthday Jackie! We love you!

A Family Reunion

Jackie's mom Elly Her brother Gringo

Her sister Dulca All of them checking her out
Well Jackie will be three years old on the 26th and it's been three years since she's seen her mom and brother. Her dad died about 6 months ago. So she had a vet apt for her yearly check up and we made a play date for her to see her mom and brother. She got a wonderful treat because her sister was there too. Here are some pictures of her family. Her mom didn't like her much at all. They were all over her. For some odd reason her mom nipped her on the eye. I didn't see it really until I looked at my pants that there was blood on them from her eye. Her whole eye was covered in blood with it dripping off her nose. She just bit her on the eyelid. She's fine now. Anyway, here are some pictures.

Baseball games

Well the season has started and I will try to keep this updated but most of the time we get home late and all I want to do is climb into bed and go to sleep. I play catch up on house work and work at home with the kido's so it's hard to update all the time.
Aron will have his last home game tomorrow night and then he has one away game next week, then he's done. He had a great season and will continue to play summer ball and fall ball. He is going to just focus on playing ball. No football next year he says. He has joined a couple of softball teams here in town so he is managing to stay busy. Plus he's helping his dad coach Marcus's junior little league team when he has time.
Marcus has played three games so far. Saturday they lost 14 to 7. They played Tuesday night and won 14 to 1. Then they played Wednesday night and lost 11 to7. The weather has been cold and windy but that is Prescott for ya!
Michael is also playing little league Minors. He has had two games. He played Tuesday night and they lost 6 to 5. Then he played tonight (thurs) and they lost again 10 to 5. Maybe next time they will win.
So our week was busy. Monday we had nothing, Tuesday Marcus had a 5 oclock game. Michael had a 5:30 game and Aron was away to Flagstaff where they got a butt whooping 20 to 7!
Wednesday Marcus had a 6:30 game. Thursday Michael had a 7:30 game and Friday we have nothing! Yay!!!! Until next week. Have a good one.

Let The Game's Begin

Today was opening ceremonies for Little League. What a day. It was beautiful weather being 72 degrees. Warm enough for you to get sunburned. We started the day off at getting to the park at 8:30 for the 9:00 ceremonies. There we were until 10:30am. Off we went to run some errands and got some lunch until 12:30. Back to the park for team pictures for Marcus. We left the park at 1:30 and went home until 2:15. We headed back to park for Michael's team pictures where they were way behind. We were there until 3:30. We ran to the other field where Marcus had his first game at 4:00. Wow what a game. They had two double plays and were winning 8 to 2. The last inning the other team hit a triple and brought in 3 runs. After that some how they just fell apart and ending up losing 14 to 7! OUCH! Better luck next time. Tuesday Michael will have his first game and Marcus will also play a game. I will try my hardest to keep you updated but no promises. When they both have a game I will watch Michael play because Dave will be with Marcus. Dave is coaching Marcus's team this year.
Marcus is on the ST. Louis Cardinals and Michael is on the AZ Diamondbacks.
This is going to be a great season.

Arena Football

So Prescott Valley has their very own Arena Football team called Adrenaline. A friend that Marcus goes to school with called us and asked if our family would like to go with them to the very first game. They had 7 extra tickets. I asked if they wanted us to pay for them but they said no that they wanted to treat us. We don't know them very well but our kids have gone to school together. Their daughter played flag football with Marcus and Dave coached for two years. They said that it was their way of thanking us.

It was a awesome game. A lot of fun and we hope to go again sometime. I didn't have my camera but I took a few pictures with my phone so here's what I got.
