Halloween night fun and the ER

This halloween we had family come in from Las Vegas. They came for the weekend. We love it when they come to visit. We have a lot of fun and all the kid's get a long really well. Norma and I took 5 of the kids trick or treating. We hit quite a few house's and did alot of walking.

The older kids headed to my sister's house for a Halloween party. So while we were done we decided to stop by the party and say hi.
Anyone who knows Aron knows he is always joking about something or trying to scare you. So I drive up to the house and he runs up to the car calm as ever and says "Mom I have to go to the ER" My first inital thought was yeah right. So he leans in to the car and unwraps his finger from the towel. I'm waiting for the hahaha got ya just kidding. But it wasn't ahahaha just kidding it was oh ouch yep you need to go to the ER. So we went to the ER. It was the fastest vistit ever. We were there for maybe an hour. No broken finger just 6 stitches.

The reality

The reality of Aron being 18 hit me today. I had to call this place to get a password for an online site that has to do with some medication that Aron's on. Well I didn't know the password so I called the 1-800 number.

I told the lady who I was and this and that and the other and she says to me....."I'm sorry ma'am but I can't discuss this with you. I will need Aron to call me."

I said "Why I'm his mom"

She said "I'm sorry but he's 18 and a legal adult."

That sadden me but I understood. So I go into the livingroom and pout to Dave and tell him what happened.

This is what he said to me. "Did you tell her that our 18 year old adult is still sleeping from staying up so late playing video games last night?"

LOL....that just made me laugh!!

18 years

I can not begin to tell you just how fast 18 years has gone! 18 years ago my first son was born. Aron. I remember one day I was crying and my dad looks at me and said "what's wrong?" Through my tears I said "he's going to be in Kindergarten before I know it."

Kindergarten!! In just 7 short months he will graduate from high school! On Wendsday he will turn 18. When he was younger I thought he would never grow up and now that he is I wish he was still younger. Not wanting to let go, I know I have to. It's a hard thing to do. But I am excited to see what God has planned for his life. The work path that he will choose. The family he will have.

I am proud to say that it's been an honor to of been his mom for 18 years. I am happy of the man he has become. The person he is. I am proud. I love you Aron James Bronson!!

Girls day out

Saturday my sister in law Sharon and I spent the day together. We went and got pedicures done. Sorry for the blury pictures. I had one of the guys there take it. Then we went to lunch at olive Garden. We had so much fun just talking and doing girl stuff!! Thanks Sharon for a great day and my we never forget the butt massage!! LOL

A lesson learned

Saturday Dave took Marcus, Ryan and Michael to the golf course to hit golf balls. While on the way home Michael says can I throw this golf ball out the window and see how high it will go?
Not thinking Dave let's Marcus throw the golf ball out the window and Michael and Marcus are hanging out the window trying to see how high it went as they pass a police officer!!
Dave said once they passed him he turned around and pulled them over! He got a warning and won't be throwing anymore golf balls out the window! Boys will be boys no matter how old you are.

Bradshaw VS Kellis

The Bradshaw Bears played Kellis High School in Phoenix this past Friday. Dave, Ryan and Michael planned on going down to see the game. They managed to get to Sunset Point which is about 45 minutes from our house. It took them 2 1/2 hrs just to get there. They are doing road construction. They turned around and came home. We listened to the game on the radio.
The Bears won 34-33

My uneventfull evening

To say that my evening was uneventfull would be an understatement! Ok so I'm ill. Really I am. It's 6pm and my last day care has left. Marcus calls. Proceeds to tell me that he left his football bag in Aron's car. So I did what every mother would do. I went to get it.

So I get to Fry's and drive up and down every isle looking for the car. I don't see it so I go in and look around for him. I don't see him so I called him and he says he got off early and is at home.

Oh Geeze!! In the meantime I'm getting text from Marcus saying "Now?" "Are you close?" So I got home and got the bag. Drive all they way back to the school and drop off the bag.

In the meantime my fuel light has come on. So after I give him the football bag I headed over to Fry's to get gas. I get halfway home and Marcus calls. "Where's my white jersey?" You've go to be kidding me, heck if I know your the one who packed your bag. I ask him if he needs it and he says yes that he can't pratice without it.

Home again I go. Get the jersey and back to the school I head! At this point I want to just kill the kid! Back home I go only to turn around 45 min later to pick him up from practice! It's now 8:40pm and I am finally home.

Casting Crowns

I won tickets to see Matt Reddman and Casting Crowns! My friend Vanessa and I went to Phoenix to see them. Being that I won them I "assumed" that our seats would be up in the balcony. Nope We were 26 rows from the stage to the left and on the end. They were great seats.
We stopped by Panda Express for dinner and thanks to a day care mom we had Coldstone for dessert!
Then we headed to the concert. It was amazing. We had a great time.

Bradshaw VS Mingus

Friday night Bradshaw played Mingus at home. They lost 27-19 Close but not good enough! Better luck next week boys.

The go ahead

Well Marcus had a doctors apt this afternoon. I'm excited to say that he will be able to play in the next football game!! Not this weeks but the week after. Today he can go to practice and run and do the exercises. Just not the tackling. He is so excited to go back to practice today! Please keep him your prayers that he doesn't hurt anything!!

Look what's cookin

Ryan making BBQ meatballs

Uncooked meatballs

Finished product! They got to them before I took the picture.
Ryan has been asking to make dinner. I would love for him to learn but sometimes I just have the attitude of just let me do it and get it done. But I've decided to let him cook something every once in awhile. He made these all by himself. I just stood over his shoulder and made sure he did it right. They came out really good!

The Storm win 19-7

Michael had his first game on Saturday. The weather was nice and hot. Until the game was about to start. The clouds rolled in and stayed there until the game was over. It was a lot of fun to watch him play. They won 19-7 Go Storm!! Remember Michael is #52 so look for him in the pictures.

Prescott VS Bradshaw

Remember when you had those two high schools in your town that werer always competing with each other? Well it's been that way for a while now with Prescott High and Bradshaw Mountain! Last Friday night the Bears(Bradshaw) beat the Badgers(Prescott) 26 to 18

Although Marcus did not play in the game he was happy to be on the sidelines supporting his team.

Labor Day Weekend

We spent our Labor Day weekend at my sister in laws hotel. Every year we plan a pool party and it always seems to rain. So this year we waited to do it later in the summer. It was a nice day. Not to hot and no rain. We had a lot of fun visiting with family and swimming.

Family visit

This weekend my sister and my nephew Jack came to visit. We have had her cat Lief and she came to pick him up. She has moved to Cali and is only 7 hrs away. I have seen her twice in a year now!!

It had been about 5 years since the last time I've seen her. Since she lived in Miami it was hard to see each other.

Jack, my nephew spent 2 nights with us. He has so much fun with his cousins.

Varsity Parent Night

Friday night was Varsity parent night. It was neat to be announced with Marcus as his parents. We walked through a tunnel with him and then were announced as "Mr. & Mrs. David Bronson and son Marcus Bronson" It was fun. They gave the mom's 3 silk roses. Black, Red and White.

Bradshaw VS Paradise Valley

Friday nights game was a home game.
Ummm....they lost! 42-17! It was not a good night for them. They last 2 teams they have played have been the best teams in AZ. So hopefully next week will a better week!

Yes, he has his glasses on that day cause he had a eye problem and needed to just them rest from contacts.
He is having fun playing and really is enjoying it.
