You know you can be a friend to anyone. Be it 9 or 90. This is my friend Toni. She befriended me 12 years ago. I would go see her just about every Sunday Morning at church. She never failed to send me a Thanksgiving blessing, Christmas blessing or a birthday blessing. She had a huge impact in my life and I will forever be greatful to her for that. I will miss her deeply for we lost her Monday

She was 93 years old. Thank you Toni for being my friend. I will see you again soon. I love you!

We have a Graduate!!

Well 14 years (counting pre K) of school came to an end last night for Marcus. He graduated  with 24 college credits, the silver diploma AND a medal for Exceeding 2 out 3 of the AIMS. We couldn't be more proud of you and the accomplishments you made throughout your school years.
Now it's time for you to move on with life. Always remeber to focus on God and he will never fail you. We love you so much and are so proud of you!!

Mother's Day

Well this Mother's Day was a blessed one! First Michael and I spent Friday night at the Faith & Family night! We got to watch the Diamondbacks play a game and then David Crowder had a concert. We got VIP tickets and got to go on the field. I won these tickets :) We had a fun time.

The Christian Radio station here in town had a Mother's Day contest.You had to call in and give a message to your mom and then finish the sentence. This Mother's Day I'm giving back time to my mom by........... They were giving away tire balance, gift cards to restruants and house cleaning! And then you were entered to win a peridot diamond necklace.

Well Marcus called in. He left a sweet message and thanked me for alway being there for him and helping him get through high school. He said he would give time back to me by going to and picking  Michael for a week since I already go out everyday to pick up day care kids and then back again to get Michael. So that won me 5 hours of free  house cleaning!!! I"M SO EXCITED about this cause it will help out right before graduation.

And Ryan made me breakfast in bed!!! Ham & cheese omelet, apples & jelly toast!! It was really good.

DRUM ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I also won the peridot diamond necklace!!!

 This was a great Mother's Day.

Happy 14th birthday Michael! 

It's been awhile

Well it looks like it's been a few months since I posted last. I guess I should catch up. Let's see. Aron got married :)  My dad turned 60 and he got married :)  And Marcus got a job. He is working at Fuddruckers. He loves it...........for now. Acutually he does like it and getting his first pay check was good for him.

We are getting close to school being done. I cant believe that Michaeal will be in high school. He is enjoying finishing up his last year at Franklin. We started going to that school when it opened back in
1996. All my boys have attented there.

Ryan will finish 10th grade. It's amazing how time is. I really feel like their 4 yrs in high school is like 2 yrs. It really goes by that fast.

Marcus is graduating in May. He will graduate with 24 college credits so he will get his AA at Yavapai in a year instead of 2. Then he will head up to Flagstaff to get his teaching degree. He has applied for a lot of scholarships so we are praying that his is blessed with a few.

Other then that not much else has been going one.  Thanks for checking in

On December 29, 2012 we gained a beautiful daughter in law. Aron & Tania were married at the court house in Prescott, Az. We are very happy for them and wish them a wonderful life together.

T-shirt Quilt

This is a quilt I made for my sister for her ex-husband. She had saved t-shirts from her son.  This quilt was the most difficult quilt ever. Nikki (my teacher) & I created a pattern as we went. There were many tears shed through out this but VERY rewarding in the end.  Yes, I would do it again.

Meet Charlie

This is Charlie. He is 7 wks old. Yes, he is our new baby.
He is a yellow lab.  He is a very good dog.
Jackie wasn't to sure about him at first but now they get along great.
I'm sure when he is older they will be best of friends.

October 7th I felt just a wee little bit older knowing I have a son who is 20. Just seems strange to me.

Ok so this summer I played the 106 days of summer with a local radio station KPPV The Mix 106.7FM I had the chance to win a $3,000 dollar travel vochure from AAA. I came in 2nd place.

I recieved a free nights stay at an Inn's Suite plus 4 AZ diamondback/Gaints tickets!

The following week I won 4 tickets the Come To The Well Tour featuring Casting Crowns,

The Afters, Sancuts Real & Lindsey McCaul. Then they had a grand prize drawling for meet & greet passes. Guess what?!?! Yep I won those as well!

These events took place on the same weekend so we spent Friday & Saturday night in Phoenix. Just the boys & I. Dave had to work. So my friend Sharon & her friend Val went to the concert with me.
