HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL

Man meets fence~ Bradshaw loses last game

Well the season is over for Aron! Yesterday was his last game here at home agaist Minus. Needless to say they took quite the beating. Those boys hit home runs left and right yesterday! Aron has had a great season. Out of how many games and this it the only picture I have of him batting.
What kind of mother am I?
Dave and I try really hard to make it every game the boys have. We managed to make it to all but 4 which were away.
Okay so Aron plays center field. The other team hits the ball. Aron is running toward the fence you can see it in the background. It has yellow on it. Yeah that's padding for when you run into it you don't get hurt I guess.
Anyway, he's running after this ball, it's going to go over the fence. He is running full speed. And then "WHAM O" he run so hard into the fence. The ball hit's the top of his glove and over the fence it goes!
It was like time stopped just for a few seconds. He's laying on the ground, everyone in the stands stand up and watch him. The players on the field just stand there. We are all waiting for him to get up. Everything and everyone is quite........
He get's up and and it's like everything started again. Everyone claps and he waves to say "I'm okay" Then the game remains.
Until the inning is over you see the blood starting to seep through his pants and he keeps wipping his face.
The inning is over and they come to the dug out. The game over. They lose 12-6(i think maybe more)
He get's home and his injuries are fence marks(scratches) on his forhead, his nose swollen with a some skin missing, a some skin missing under his nose. His right knee really torn up and his left knee buised. And a headache.
I guess it could of been worse. I felt so bad for him. He was mad at himself for not catching the ball. But he tried. I'm glad he's okay

Pardes win 7-6

Michael's game was good last night. Late.....but good. The had a few really good hits. Played catcher the whole game. He loves to play catcher and he is also a pitcher. He took a hard pitch in the arm but shook it off. The won the game 7-6. It was one of the back N forth games. Really intense.

Keeping up

With all these game going on I am trying really hard to keep up and let everyone know how the game went. Please bare with me it I only post the scores. I can't be at all of them....but I try!!
Maybe I should "clone" myself so I can be in more then one place. Okay maybe not such a good idea

Bradshaw wins 17-5

Aron had a game Tuesday night here at home. They had a really good game. I'm not sure how he did. Although I was there for about 30minutes. I saw him bat twice. He got a single hit and then struck out. They won 17-5

Pardes lose 6-4

Finally a game for Michael!! He was the starter pitcher for 4 innings. He did great. Threw some balls but mostly strikes. They lost the game to Dewey.
The kids really didn't care that much. It was a close game and they were all very excited to of just gotten to play a game.

Giants Win 5-3

Last nights game was very s-t-r-e-s-s-f-u-l-l!!!!
They played one of the best Chino Valley teams in Little League! Going into I thought for sure they would lose.
I am "learning" to get thick skinnned. Dave is umpiring the games for our little league. And if you go to sports you know that people can be nasty and make rude comments. Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. That is unless your a umpire. I'm not sure they are allowed to make mistakes. So, I have to ignore some of the comments that parents make and try really hard not to say anything. That's my husband their making a comment about.
Anyway, the game was amazing!!
At on point in the game they had 1 out and bases loaded. Then they had 2 outs. Bases still loaded. The guy on 3rd started to run. Marcus was playing catcher and Trevor playing 3rd. The kid got himself in a pickle. That is when he is in the middle of running either back to 3rd base or trying to go home. With the catcher and 3rd basemen tossing the ball back and forth trying to get him out. Well they succeded! Marcus tagged him!
They were 0 to 0 up unil the 5th inning in the game when Marcus hit a line drive and got a double. Trevor is up to bat the same thing bringin in Marcus. From then on they starting hitting.
It was a good game. Ending in a winning score of 5-3!! Way to go boys. Job well done.

Bradshaw loses 10-7

Aron traveled to Paige on Saturday. It's a 4 hour drive so it made for a long day when he left the house at 645am and got home at 830pm.
Although they lost 10-7. He said that he had a good game. Got a double, 2 rbi's and a diving catch.
I can't believe that his season is almost over. Only 3 more games for him.

Giants lose 5-3

Marcus had a game last Friday night. They played against the other PV team. It was a cold night but nice. The wind wasn't blowing so that always makes it much nicer.
He has a good game considering they lost 5-3. He had some great hits. A line drive that would of been over the fence but the left fielder caught it!
He played catcher and third base.

First game...Cancelled

Such a bummer. Yesterday "would of been" Michael's first game for the Little League season. It was cancelled due to the weather. It was cold and cloudy. A bit of snow here and there, but the sun was still shinning. Next game is scheduled for Tuesday April 21st.

Self Portraits

While going through my pictures trying to get things in order, I came across some "self portraits" that the boys have taken of themselves. I guess it just struck me funny and thought I would share. Enjoy

Wordless Wednesday~Under Buddies~ 6-26-06

Bradshaw Loses 12-2 OUCH!!

The game in Cottonwood yesterday was ummm.....L-O-S-T!! Aron grounded out but had a good bat. The pitcher had to throw him aobut 10 pitches before he finally hit it. Then he bunted and moved the runner to the next base.

Here we go......

Well with Little League season in full bloom here we go with busy days!!! I just feel the need to let everyone else know how my "busy" day was yesterday and send me some pitty my way. LOL Yeah okay well I know it's my choice and I acutually like being busy. Keeps me sane
(I think)
First off since Marcus's team was a last minute team put together they have no numbers on their shirts. I had to take them all to the guy who is putting the numbers on. Then home.
Dave went off to Cottonwood to watch Aron's game. I went and picked up Marcus from school. Then we ran an errand. Then we drove to pick up Michael and Ryan. Then we stopped by my dad's house to say hi. We get home, Ryan reminds me that he needs to go to the library to pick up a book for his report. So in reality I SHOULD of taken him to the library instead of visiting my dad. Anway, we get home and I have to take Michael and Marcus to baseball practice. And pick up a kid from the team. It's 430 when we get home.
Can Michael find his baseball pants?!?!? Can they ever find what they need when your in a hurry? UGH!! Marcus gets ready, puts Jackson(day care kid) in the car. Ryan, Michael and I are frantically looking for his pants. FINALLY we found them.
It's 450 now and we are off to drop Ryan off at the library and pick up Trevor(team mate) So we make it to the library. Drop off Ryan. Now we are on our way to pick up Trevor. Trevor calls and says he doesn't need a ride now. We turn around and head to the field to drop off Marcus who's practice starts at 5pm. We get there and there is no one there. I call the coach, no practice starts at 530.
We head to Pronghorn Ranch to drop off Michael who's practice started at 5pm. We get there at 520. I drop him off and head back to the fields to drop off Marcus. I get there at 540.
Dave calls and says he's back in town and is headed over to help out with Marcus's practice. I head to the library to pick up Ryan. Now I'm on my way to drop Jackson off at home at 6pm.
Ryan and I head back to Pronghorn to pick up Michael who's practice got over at 7pm.
Now we head home to fix a quick dinner. Top ramen and grilled cheese it is!!
Crazy hu?!?! And it's JUST starting. I tell ya the life with 4 boys and their sports.
Stay tuned for more crazy days coming your way, or is it my way?

We started the season off with some cool weather. My friend Carrie and her daughter Hailey came out to watch the game.

Marcus played catcher the whole game. They have a really good team this year. He did good. Got walked twice and got out on a pop up.

They won the game 17-2

Wordless Wednesday~Memories

Bradshaw wins 15-4

Aron went to Flagstaff yesterday for a ball game.
He said "I caugth 3 fly balls, struck out on a stupid call, grounded out, got a double and a triple."
Sounds like it was a really good game.

G-U-I-L-T-Y

While we were away at the game. Jackie got into the trash can in the day care room. This is what I came home to. The trash can lid stuck around her neck.

It was funny but the more I think about it, it could of been fatal! She knew right away that she was in trouble.

G-U-I-L-T-Y!!!

Just look at her face. If she could talk "Take the picture already, would ya?"

Bradshaw wins 12-3

Oh my gosh!! Last nights game was played in some of the most horrible weather that I have ever seen. I can't believe that they had these boys play. The weather was cold 45 degress. The winds were about 50mph!! It rained off and on.
The other team, bless their hearts, were from Page. They were freezing. The game took 3hrs to play. They had to stop everytime the wind would blow or a dust cloud would come through.
Marcus and Dave said outside. Froze their butts off. Ryan and Michael were the smart ones and sat in the car. I on the other hand had it easy. I worked in the cocession stand. Not that we were busy at all but I got to watch the game "from inside"
Aron caught a line drive in the outfield got 2 singles and 2 RBI'S got walked and hit.
So besides the weather. The game was good.
